This is due the fact that some of the inline skate collections here, is about a season behind the United States. So when the outdated collection – which is considered new in Singapore – goes on clearance sale at the U.S.-based, you can get a significant discount even with shipping charges to Singapore included.

During the time of my purchase, the K2 EXO 80 inline skates 2009 was sold at US$145.19 (approximately S$209) while it was retailing at S$329 locally.
