CONFINEMENT NANNY TRAINING PROGRAMME

The WINGS-KK Hospital Confinement Nanny Training programme aims to equip older women with the most up-to-date knowledge and practical skills to work as confinement nannies or serve as competent nannies to their own families. This is a 5-day course conducted in English.

Date: 25–26 & 29–31 March 2010
Time: 9.00am to 5.00pm

Course Fee: S$1,200 nett
Certificate: Participants who successfully complete the course will be awarded a WINGS-KKH certificate

COURSE OUTLINE

25–26 Mar (Thursday to Friday)
A. Healthy Confinement Food Cooking

• Prepare 20 common confinement meals & menu planning
• Use of Chinese herbs in confinement cooking
• Effective time management for a confinement nanny

29–31 Mar (Monday to Wednesday)
B. Complete baby care
C. Breastfeeding techniques
D. Caring for yourself as a confinement nanny
E. Insights on a confinement nanny career

Pre-requisites:

• Women 40 years and older
• Singaporean/Singapore PR
• Basic cooking skills
• Enroll as a WINGS member (WINGS membership is $10 per year)
