For the first time ever, Singapore’s leading cinema chain Golden Village, will be hosting a “Live” performance, featuring professional Australian pop jazz and fusion artiste Corinne Gibbons.

It has been a week since I started using the ASUS Eee PC 1000H compatible extended battery that I’ve purchased from DealExtreme for about S$88 and have it delivered to Singapore for free. So far, I’m pretty pleased with its performance.

Basically sending updates via global SMS to Twitter using the official +44 (UK) number will cost you a fair bit in Singapore. Fortunately, there are 3rd-party services such as sgBeat and SMSYO that allow you to update your Twitter via local SMS for free.
