A Cheaper Way to Maintain Your PMP Certification in Singapore?
In order to renew Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, 60 professional development units (PDU) are required every 3 years. Generally, 1 PDU is awarded for each official learning contact hour, and this does not come cheap – it may cost up to S$150/PDU. Fortunately, I’ve found a cheaper way to obtain the 60 PDUs required to maintain my PMP certification in Singapore.
Go For E-Learning Courses
For a start, the most cost efficient way to earn PDUs in Singapore, is probably to take up e-learning courses offered by PMI Registered Education Providers (R.E.P). It cost between S$1500 to S$4000 to earn 60 PDUs by completing the e-learning courses.
Go For PM Educate’s E-Learning Courses
After researching further, I’ve found an even better e-learning course deal – about S$450 for 60 PDUs! PM Educate, a R.E.P, offers an e-learning course bundle – Project Management Bundle (Course PME002+PME004) – at US$299.99 (about S$450) only. It guarantees you will receive 60 official PDUs upon completion of the courses.
I’ve purchased the above course bundle from PM Educate, and I’ve taken the following screen captures to let you see what I’ve paid for.
