A free ‘Family Day Out Carnival‘ will be held along the Singapore River on 30 May 09 to launch National Family Celebrations ’09, a month-long campaign planned to help strengthen family ties in Singapore. At the carnival, families can enjoy interesting activities that promise to engage people of all ages.

Additionally, 15,000 free tickets will be given out for families in Singapore to enjoy an outing to tourist attractions together.

Date: 30 May 2009 (first Saturday of the June school holidays)
Time: 10am – 6pm
Venue: By the Singapore River (Near Asian Civilisations Museum)
