Razor TV – Web TV Meets Social Networking

Straits Times Razor TV is one of the first web TV service in Singapore that not only promises to broadcast news and lifestyle content through live streaming and on-demand, it also allows real-time interactivity between the studio and the audience through a social networking platform.

This simply means that you will be able to interact with the web TV’s live broadcasts as well as video-on-demand clips by rating, reviewing and posting comments on them.

Furthermore, Razor TV will be tapping heavily on user-generated content from other Singapore Press Holdings’ websites such as Stomp to give its local content a boost. This will also help to facilitate and encourage users to create, personalised and share content with other Razor TV’s users.

To ensure the continuous vibrancy and interactivity of Razor TV, programming interfaces will also be developed to allow third-party developers to create interesting applications that will constantly engage users of this web TV meets social networking website in Singapore.

The Straits Times Razor TV is now live. You can visit Razor TV to experience beta version of this upcoming web TV service.
